With protests and violence spreading through Tarai, major four parties—Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML, UCPN (Maoist), and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Loktantrik (MJF-L)—on Thursday decided to identify the ways to address the demands of the disgruntled groups in the constitution drafting process. 

A meeting of four major parties  held at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu is is exploring options for ' acceptable way out' of the current crisis.

“The parties will again sit for talks after discussing within their respective parties to determine the ways to address the demands of dissenting factions,” CPN-UML Vice-chairman Bhim Rawal told the Post Earlier on Thursday.

Also, the meeting urged the protesting parties to make environment conducive for talks as the government has already invited them twice the talks table.
