Saudi team no match for disciplined Nepali attack

The Saudi team, winning the toss elected to bat first. However, the disciplined Nepali bowling side showed their best and bundled up their opponents with just 55 runs on the board in 33.2 overs. Sushil Kandel took four wickets for Nepal followed by Prem Tamang and Sunil Dhamala claiming 2 wickets each.
Saudi opener Faisal Khan scored the highest, 19 runs off 14 balls, before being caught behind the wicket.
In response, the Nepali batting order wrapped up the game in just 9 overs losing one wicket. Opener Dhamala remained not out scoring 34 runs off 20 balls, joined by Raju Rijal who put up 14 runs on the board keeping his wicket intact.
Shankar Lama was the lone victim of Saudi bowling attack. He succumbed to Sami Munshi’s delivery scoring just 4 runs off 14 balls.
Sushil Kandel was named Player of the Match.
