Chairman Mahato said that the government should create environment conducive for talks, saying they would not sit for talks in the status quo.
At a news conference organised by the Sadbhawana Party, Rupandehi, at Bhairahawa on Friday, the leader said that there was no possibility of sitting for talks unless the army men mobilised at different places of the country are called back, and prohibitory order is lifted.
The Sadbhawana Party Chairman demanded declaring those injured in agitation as martyrs, stopping constitution writing process and forming a judicial commission for investigation into the incident.
Chairman Mahato said that they were compelled to launch agitation after major political parties were engaged in constitution writing process forgetting the previous agreements, adding the new constitution was promulgated though this process would not be acceptable to them at any cost.
He further said that the area from Jhapa to Narayani should be made one province while the area from Narayani to Kanchanpur another province. Mahato said they have no objection over the naming of federal provinces.
Leader Mahato said they launched the agitation now after the achievements gained from the previous movements were neglected.
The new constitution without federalism would be incomplete as federal democratic republic constitution is the main spirit and aspiration of the historic movements, Madhes movement and other movements took place in the country.
