Two people in Ramechhap district have been detected with H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu.
According to Dr Gita Shakya, Director at Teku-based National Public Health Laboratory, two of the eight blood samples brought from the Ramechhap tested positive for swine flu.
The health officials in Rammechhap started taking blood samples for lab tests suspecting possible spread of virus after many people thronged at hospital complaining fever.
