Japan welcomes endoresement of new constitution
The government of Japan has welcomed the adoption of the new constitution by Nepal’s Constituent Assembly (CA).
The government of Japan has welcomed the adoption of the new constitution by Nepal’s Constituent Assembly (CA).
Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishidaon Friday congratulated the people of Nepal for a new step toward a truly democratic country.
“The Government of Japan welcomes the adoption of Nepal’s new Constitution through its Constituent Assembly, on 16th of September, 2015,” a Japanese Embassy statement quoted Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishidaon as saying .
The statement further stated that the government of Japan expects to see Nepal’s political stability being secured and the country’s democracy, peace-building and economic development progressing, under the new Constitution.
Japan government will continue to work to further develop the Japan-Nepal relationship and to contribute to the stability and prosperity of the entire region, Kishidaon said in the statement.
"As a true friend of Nepal, Japan will continuously assist Nepal as much as possible toward realisation of a better reconstruction of Nepal," the statement further read.
