The leaders and cadres of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) have staged sit-in before three major customs checkpoints in Mahottari district since early Friday morning.

As part of the protest following the promulgation of a new constitution, the UDMF leaders and cadres resorted to disrupt customs service in major checkpoints.

The UDMF has been on agitation to have their demands in the constitution addressed.
