Schools in Parasi, the district headquarters of Nawalparasi and in southern parts have resumed classes from today after a long closure.
Academic institutes here remained closed for nearly the past 50 days due to protests of Madhesi Tharuat Joint Front against the new constitution and demarcation of federal units.
But the Front allowed the resumption classes resumption of schools and market areas from today, following repeated calls from the business community and academic institutes.
The Front has said that it agreed to allow the schools to remain open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and market places from 17:00 pm to 20:00 pm beginning from today itself.
