The Chinese side is making preparations to reopen the Rasuwagadhi border point by October 15.
The Rasuwagadhi Customs Office chief Kedar Prasad Paneru informed that the Chinese side shared this information in a meeting held between the Chinese and local administration of Nepal.
The Rasuwagadhi-Kerung road section was blocked due to the April 25 Gorkha earthquake and landslide occurred in this rainy season.
Similarly, Customs office chief Paneru informed that the Nepalese side has completed all the preparations to resume the border point.
It is noted that about 300 million rupees revenue were collected through this border point in the fiscal year 2071/072 BS.
