"Our meeting is being held with a comprehensive document on how to import the fuel received in grant from China to the Capital," he said, adding, "We are soon sending a team for discussion on purchase on trade level for limited percentage of our national consumption with them."

The Supplies Minister said: "It will end the current problem for now and we are discussing on how we can make preparations for a sustained supply."

Minister Pun further elaborated stating that diplomatic efforts were being taken at various phases to ease the supply and added that preparations were ongoing for supply of essential goods by rerouting them from alternate customs points as per the Indian government's commitment expressed during the Foreign Minister's visit.

He said the NOC officials were being urged to hold discussions with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). The Minister also spoke of consultations being held on supplying fuel as per the demand from anywhere in the world whether from neighbouring countries or other countries.
