‘Stakeholders for Harmony’ organise rally in Kathmandu

Actors -Santosh Panta, Bashundhara Bhusal, singer Yogeshwor Amatya, right activists- Anuradha Koirala, Subin Mulmi, president of Federation of Nepali Chambers of Commerce and Industries Pashupati Murarka, Dr Kedhar Bhakta Mathema and civil society leader Daman Nath Dhungana, among others, attended the rally demanding an end to the polarisation seen amongst the people as a result of the political unrest.
"We want a conclusive end to the political turmoil the country is undergoing and the hardships faced by people," said advocate Mulmi. The rally organised by a group called ‘Stakeholders for Harmony’ started from Maitighar and ended at Baneshwor. Those present at the rally carried banners stating 'both the Madhesh and Pahad is ours', and 'wake up government and find a solution'.
A press release issued by the group has urged both the government and the agitating Madhesi leaders to find a solution through peaceful negotiations while keeping in mind the hardship that the general people are forced to undergo due to the political deadlock.
