“The discussion have been postponed indefinitely after the ruling and opposition parties demanded more time for political consensus on reconstruction authority,” said the Committee Chair Ganga Chaudhary.
Six meetings have been convened so far for the political consensus, Chaudhary said. However, the lack of consensus between ruling coalition and opposition party Nepali Congress has left the bill in limbo.
