On the first day of drive kicked from local Jorpati in the capital, a signature collection was held, urging India to immediately lift its unofficial blockade imposed on the country.
Society founding President Krishna Pahadi said India's blockade against Nepal will be recorded as a shameful incident in history and India was not supposed to offer this type of discourtesy to its close neighbours.
Society President Gangadhar Adhikari, treasurer Renuka Poudel, social workers Govinda Ghimire 'Bedmani', Gopal Baral, Dr Subas Pyakurel, Krishnaji Khadka, Komala Lamichhane and Kumar Mani Gajurel demanded an immediate end to India's blockade on Nepal, terming it as an 'inhumane act'.
The Society has planned to organise a sit-in in front of the Indian Embassy on Thursday. RSS
