Gas distributor held for stashing 22 cylinders in Kathmandu

The police have arrested a gas distributer for obscurely storing LP gas cylinders at his rented room in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu on Friday.
The police arrested proprietor of Raju and Daju gas Store in Balbhadra Marga, New Baneshwor, Raj Kumar Bhatta of Charghare-4, Nuwakot, for illegally stashing 22 LP gas cylinders.
A joint team of New Baneshwor Metropolitan Police Range and Department of Commerce officials, acting on a tip, conducted a raid at Bhatta’s room where they found one fully filled Everest gas cylinder and 21 half-filled Sugam Company cooking gas cylinders.
An investigation is underway regarding the case, said Police.
