Eight Indian police officers stationed at Sunauli border point have faced disciplinary action for extorting the Nepali importers bringing goods to Nepal from India.
RK Chaturvedi, deputy inspector general of police at Gorakhpur district in India, recalled the guilty officers to Maharajgunj, the district headquarters, based on the complaint filed by Bharat Nepal Maitri Samaj.
