Police have rounded up 35 human rights activists who were staging a sit-in at Indian Embassy in Lainchaur, Kathmandu on Friday.
The protest programme was called by Human Rights and Peace Society of Nepal against India’s unofficial blockade and government’s apathy to address the crisis.
Krishna Pahadi, founding chairman of the organisation, Chairman Gangadhar Adhikari, Hemkanta Chaulagain, Krishna Kandel, among others, were arrested.
