Big-three, Madhesi Morcha talks inconclusive

The meeting held at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar failed to arrive at consensus, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha Vice Chairman Hirdayesh Tripathi informed. “The dialogue remained just a ritual. The three parties failed to come up with a clear position on the state demarcation,” said leader Tripathi.
At the meeting, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur and Vice-chairman Hridayesh Tripathi, Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) Joint-chairman Rajendra Shrestha and Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party senior leader Ram Naresh Yadav were present.
No leaders from Morcha affiliated Sadbhawana Party showed up at the meeting.
Earlier, three major parties held a meeting to forge common position on Tarai agitation.
Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato is in New Delhi for health check-up. He had sustained injuries in a police-Morcha clash at Biratnagar.
Meanwhile, SSFN Chairman Upendra Yadav and Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party Chairman Mahendra Raya Yadav are in Butwal, it has been learnt.
