The earthquake-ravaged folks of Laprak who have been living in temporary camps after being displaced from their residences are happy with the government decision to give them Gupsipakha land to build their permanent residence.
The old areas of Laprak now is insecure and precarious due to April 25 earthquake and landslide. The lower land of the Laprak has seen big cracks owing to the landslide and earthquake.
The government has decided to provide Gupsipakha stretching over 18.32 hectares of land to 627 earthquake-affected households of Laprak after nine months of the devastating disaster.
People here have welcomed the government's decision to develop well-managed and integrated settlement plan in Guptipakha, said Kisan Gurung, a local. RSS
