Police rescued four girls from Naubise Bazaar in Dhading district while being trafficked to India.
Police had questioned Pramila (name changed) of Charbang-9, Rolpa, Sharmila and Urmila of Ghumsthan-1, Sindhupalchowk and Sita of Rangsi-2, Rolpa in a passenger bus when they found out that Rolpa’s Min Bahadur Gurung and Rachana Gurung were taking them to India by luring them with employment opportunity in Kuwait.
Police arrested Min Bahadur and Rachana and also recovered Rs 55,000 from the duo. District Police Chief Sabin Pradhan informed that the girls have been handed over to their relatives.
