A 5.5 magnitude aftershock of the Gorkha Earthquake jolted the Capital city at 10:05 pm on Friday.
According to National Seismological Centre, the aftershock had its epicentre in Sindhupalchok.
The aftershock which struck in the late evening forced people running out into the streets due to fear.
The number of aftershocks of the earthquake measuring above 4.0 Richter scale has now hit 428.
Nepal Police have stated that the jolt has injured more than 60 people. The majority of injured are from valley.
