A worker died in a road accident at Mahottari VDC in the district. 

The deceased has been identified as Ankesh Kumar Kapar, 17, of Mahottari VDC-4, according to the District Police Officer. 

The accident took place when a tractor (Ja 1 Ta 2571) heading towards Mahottari to load mud from a neighbouring village Phulhatta crushed Kapar after it fell into a canal, said Police Inspector Naresh Mahato. 

The body has been brought to the District Hospital, Jaleshwor for postmortem. RSS
