The Legislature-Parliament is set to pass a condolence motion on Thursday in honor of former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President late Sushil Koirala. 

The meeting of Legislature-Parliament, slated to be held after a long interval, will table the proposal in commemoration of Koirala who passed away on Tuesday. 

The new constitution was promulgated in September 20, 2015 by Koirala-led coalition government. 

Koirala was elected Constituent Assembly (CA) member after in the second poll of the CA in November 19, 2013 from Constituency no 3 in Banke and constituency no 4 in Chitwan. 

The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament had been postponed for a while after a mutual consensus among the major political parties as the NC was gearing up for its 13th general convention. 

The Secretariat is doing necessary homework for tabling the condolence resolution tomorrow, according to Bharatraj Gautam, Spokesperson at Parliament Secretariat.RSS
