Namibia has set a target of 226 runs for Nepal  in a ‘winner takes it all’ seventh place playoff final of the ICC U-19 World Cup in Fatullah, Bangladesh on Thursday.

After losing the toss Nepal was called to field. Namibia lost the very first wicket of Niko Davin in the first ball of the game. Nepali bowlers kept the pressure on taking wickets in regular intervals dismissing Linde in 15.6 overs and Green in 25.5 overs who was followed by Louwrens 6 overs later and Brits was gone an over after.

The Namibian side bounced back with a 99 run partnership between Rautenbach and van Lingen. The duo scrapped the unstable Namibian side to take their side to 212 in the 43rd over.

Lohan Louwrens scored 59 runs from 107 deliveries and M van Lingen 58 off 45 deliveries. Followed by Rautenbach who put up 39 for Namibia.

However, Nepal U-19s bowling star Sandeep Lamichanne took the two wickets of Rautenbach and van Lingen in two deliveries giving Nepal a sense of relief.

Despite Lamichanne's last minute efforts to curb the Namibian batting attack secured to put of 225 runs on the score board.
