The Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur arrested 27 middlemen from offices of the Department of Transport Management in Talchikhel and Ekantakuna on Monday.

Police have also seized government documents from the middlemen. "We have been receiving numerous complaints over hassles faced by clients because of these middlemen," said Senior Superintendent of Police Pitamber Adhikari, chief of the range.

He added that they would soon write to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on the government documents that were seized.
