Nepal becomes 34th Member of Asia Cooperation Dialogue

The meeting that began from 8-10 March, 2016 unanimously endorsed Nepal as ACD’s 34th member on Thursday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal Kamal Thapa who is also the leader of the Nepalese delegation, during the occasion, thanked the ACD for accepting Nepal as a new member of this forum. DPM Thapa iterated full commitment to the principles, values and objectives of the ACD assuring the forum that Nepal will continue to engage in its activities and programmes with sincerity and dedication.
DPM Thapa is holding bilateral discussions with participating delegations head, including Thai Foreign Minister.
DPM Thapa, this evening, is leaving Bangkok for Delhi to participate in World Cultural Festival organised by the Art of Living in New Delhi. After delivering his speech on Global Leadership Forum on March 12, he will return to Kathmandu.
The ACD at present has 34 members, including India and China. Today's ceremony was inaugarated by the Thai Prime Minister.
