Fundraiser concert for women empowerment

The event will feature four French musicians—Gauthier Herrmann on the cello, Mathieu Herzog on alto, Laurent Manaud Pallas on violin, and Aude Giuliano playing the accordion—who will perform renditions of western classical music by stalwarts such as Beethoven.
The event aims to raise fund in order to run projects to empower women and to prod them to become independent entrepreneurs.
One of the organisers, Federation of Business and Professional Women in Nepal (FBPWN) is a nonprofit that aims to promote gender equality and empower women and seeks to equip women to become entrepreneurs and promote them to take active participation in the formal market sector.
On the other hand, International Foundation for Population and Development (IFPD), a Swiss NGO, works on to reduce poverty from the most vulnerable groups in developing countries. Further, the organisation also aims to improve the quality of life among women by easing their access to health services and education.
The concert starts at 5 pm. Tickets are priced at Rs 6,000 and include drinks and snacks.
