He underlined the need for constructive involvement of concerned communities for the same.
In a programme organised by RCDP International Volunteers in Chitwan on Thursday, Secretary Pandit said the Ministry should work towards changing the stereotypical mindset of general public that community schools provide less quality education than private institutions. “We shall prove that community schools are on par with private schools in terms of quality education,” Pandit said.
Criticising the unnecessary political intervention in the educational institutions, Pandit said that Ministry of Education would not remain a mute-spectator to political interference in such a sacred sector such as education.” He was of a view that education sector should be free from politics under any circumstances.
Secretary Pandit was addressing a programme organised to hand over the newly constructed school buildings to Devi Raman National Primary School and Shree Shakti Lower Secondary School in Chitwan.
