The mortal remains of Caravan actor and social activist Thinley Lhondup were laid to rest according to Buddhist tradition at Pachalighat in Teku on Friday. He was 72.
Thinley, a permanent resident of Saldang-5, died in his home district Dolpa on April 24 after falling off a cliff at Chhepka in Phoksundo VDC, on his way back home from Dunai, the district headquarters.
