A Malaysian group has provided $80,000 (approx Rs8.4 million) to establish two medical centres for earthquake survivors in Sindhupalchok.
According to Malaysian national Dato’ Loh Y.T, he and his partners from Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) helped the victims in Sidhupalchok, Kavre and Gorkha districts by providing medical assistance to over 1,000 patients and 2,000 villagers.
The group said that it built four schools, one health post, one sustainable goat farm and one water pipe project that are expected to benefit an estimated 3,000 school children and villagers in the quake affected regions.
The disastrous earthquake in April 25 2015 took the lives of thousands of people and injured ten thousands of people.
