DPM Thapa meets Israeli prez during football match

Nepal’s envoy to Israel Prahlad Prasain arranged the meeting between DPM Thapa and President Rivlin during the final match of Israeli FA Cup due to a tight schedule of the leaders.
Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Yaron Mayer also played a crucial role in making the meeting possible. Envoy Mayer had reached Israel along with Prasain for the meeting.
DPM Thapa, who was in Istanbul Turkey for the World Humanitarian Summit, reached the stadium after landing in Israel along with Ambassador Prasain and Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi.
Likewise, Thapa is also scheduled to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today. During the meeting, Nepal and Israel will sign an agreement on Permanent Diplomatic Mechanism.
Similarly, DPM Thapa will address the Israeli Council on Nepal-Israel relations.
