Teaching Hospital bars Dr. KC from staging hunger strike at hospital premises

Officiating Dean Bimal Kumar Sinha requested Dr. KC not to hamper hospital services by staging hunger strike at the hospital premises.
"Dr KC's hunger strike bears direct impact on educational activities, examinations and hospital's regular services. Therefore, we urge all concerned parties not to organise such hunger strike or other forms of protests at the institution," a statement released by Dean's office on Friday mentioned.
The statement further states that if Dr. KC ignores this request and decides to go beyond the prevalent rule, he will be held responsible for any unfavourable incidents and resulting consequences that may arise during the course.
Meanwhile, 24 doctors supporting Dr. KC have demanded that they should be allowed TUTH premises as hunger strike venue.
