CIAA files chargesheet against Land Reform official
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday filed a chargesheet against Jivnath Shiwakoti, an official of the Land Reform Office, Kalanki for amassing properties disproportionate to his known source of income.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday filed a chargesheet against Jivnath Shiwakoti, an official of the Land Reform Office, Kalanki for amassing properties disproportionate to his known source of income.
Shiwakoti, who entered the service from Bagmati Zonal Court, is charged of amassing Rs 14.7 million illegally on basis of which the anti-graft body has demanded fine and prison sentence under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059.
The Commission has also demanded confiscation of the immovable property registered in name of the accused official's wife who too does not have a known source. RSS
