Nepal Oil Corporation has slashed the price of cooking gas by Rs 50 per cylinder. The decision will be effective from Thursday midnight.

With the revised rate, a cylinder of LP gas will now cost Rs 1,325. The decision has been taken in view of upcoming festive seasons, the NOC said.

"We took the decision as a relief to consumers in view of upcoming Dashain festival," said NOC Spokesperson BhanuKhanal.

However, the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene have not been revised, NOC said.
