World renowned investigative journalists gather in Kathmandu

A total of 400 journalists including investigative reporters and editors are participating in the conference. Among them, there will be 320 such journalists from various 52 countries, said Editor at CIJ Nepal, Shiva Gaunle.
It was also informed that Pulitzer Prize winner Walter V Robinson is also attending the conference. Similarly, world renowned investigative journalist Sheila Coronel has arrived in Kathmandu being a participant. She is the founder of Investigative Journalism Centre, Philippines.
Interestedly, owing to her investigative news, then President of Philippines, Estrada, had to resign from the post.
During the conference, the journalists would share the skills and knowledge featuring the problems, challenges and achievement in this sector.
Even a team of Panama Papers would share its experiences. RSS
