An unidentified group has stolen Rs 2.5 million from a vehicle parked in the parking area at Budhahat in Biratnagar on Tuesday.
The unidentified group made off with the cash in a bag after smashing the windowpane of the vehicle (Ko 1 Ta 8019) parked by staffers of Mount Development Bank of Terhathum. The cash had reportedly been drawn out from the Birtangar-based Machhapuchchhre Bank, according to the District Police Office, Morang.
The incident took place when Bank staff Suman Limbu and driver Bir Bahadur Mabuhang, had gone to quench their thirst nearby.
