Staffers at Charikot Hospital in Dolakha have resorted to protest from Wednesday against the inhuman treatment of the health workers after a video depicting doctors apologising went viral on Facebook.

Workers claim that the doctors were forced to apologise on camera for the death of an infant at the hospital admitting negligence on their part. Mahadev Rijal, a one and a half year child, had lost his life during treatment after being admitted to the hospital after complaints of abdominal pain and vomiting.

Servicer seekers have been hit hard by the strike.
