Properties worth Rs150 million were damaged during a fire at Dipayal-based Nepal Electricity Authority Sub-Station on Wednesday.
An electrical short-circuit in one of the transformers at the sub-station commenced the fire at around 3 am this morning prompting damages to the feeder and other three equipment and power cut at Doti and Achham, informed District Police Office SP Dilliraj Bista.
The fire was brought under control with the help of locals, police and staffers at the NEA sub-station after three hours.
