The mass meeting is being held at Bhrikurimandap in Kathmandu.
Earlier, on Thursday, CPN-UML had organised a motorcycle rally to publicise about today's assembly.

Meanwhile, CPN-UML Vice Chairman and Province no 3 in-charge Asta Laxmi Shakya claimed that around 150,000 people are participating in today’s show of strength.
The UML had issued a circular to its over two dozen sister and other affiliated organisations for mandatory participation during today’s meet.
The opposition parties, prior to a mass meeting, will organise rallies from over 40 areas across the Capital before reaching Bhrikutimandap for the meeting.
