Dispute surrounds FNJ over membership distribution

Three FNJ central members, in a joint press statement issued on Tuesday, expressed their dissent saying that the incumbent leadership denied access to members list and distributed memberships promiscuously without holding any discussion with the federation's central committee.
The joint statement issued by FNJ members Dipendra Kunwar, Roshan Puri and Madhav Dulal read that the FNJ leadership in a coordinated manner sent the membership list to its district chapters without the approval of central committee at a time when allegations against the federation is on the rise for issuing memberships to non-journalists.
The trio has also demanded the FNJ leadership not to grant membership to non-journalists, include working journalists at the federation and transparency in federation's works.
