Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has appealed the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha to resolve the problems through talks and consensus.
During a Central Office meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) held at Baluwatar on Friday, PM Dahal urged the alliance of seven Madhes-based parties to come to the negotiation table and iron out the differences through consensus.
He also urged the Madhesi Morcha to take part in the local level elections slated for May 14.
On the occasion, the CPN (Maoist Centre) leaders urged the Prime Minister to consistently hold talks with leaders of Madhesi Morcha and create conducive environment for the Madhes-centric parties to take part in the elections.
The meeting has decided to organise door-to-door campaign to make the party’s candidates victorious in the civic polls.
The party has also decided to finalise candidates for the polls by April 22.
