Agitating Sanghiya Gathabandhan has become positive on joining the local level polls slated for May 14 after the ruling coalition partners agreed to revise the constitution amendment proposal.
The second meeting of the coalition partners with the Gathabandhan leaders held on Friday decided to form a four member panel to revise the amendment proposal within Saturday.
Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula and Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader Buddhiman Tamang from ruling coalition and Rajendra Shrestha and Laxman Lal Karna from agitating Sanghiya Gathabandhan are in the panel.
The paned would finalise the revision in the amendment proposal registered by the government on Saturday and the meeting to be held at 2 pm on Saturday would endorse the proposal.
According to Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) leader Keshav Jha the coalition has become ready to revise the proposal correcting langauge in article 7 and 274 and forming an inclusive federal commission to finalise the provincial boundaries within three months.
Gathabandhan leaders have been claiming that they won't join the polls unless the revised amendment proposal was endorsed from the Parliament while government has been seeking Gathabandhan 's commitment to join the polls.
Maoist centre leader Shakti Basnet claimed that the meeting was very much positive and exciting and would be concluded on Saturday with a concrete agreement.
