According to a press statement jointly issued by the NSN and SSFN, the parties have formed a Party Unification Coordination Committee to expedite the unification process. The committee comprises of NSN coordinator Baburam Bhattarai, SSFN Chaorman Upendra Yadav and SSFN senior leader Ashok Rai.
“The committee will take the unification process to a logical conclusion at the earliest through co-work and unity in the ongoing movement,” read the statement.
Likewise, both the parties have urged the government to create an environment for the elections by addressing the demands put forth by the Sanghiya Gathabandhan, Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha and 68-party joint struggle committee.
