Entire panel of Maoist Centre elected at Tarakhola Village Council in Baglung

As per latest announcement by the Election Commission, CPN (Maoist Centre)'s candidates for chairperson Prakash Ghartimagar was elected by securing votes of 3350. He defeated close contestant Dandapani Kandel of Nepali Congress by the margin of 2394. Kandel secured 956 votes.
Likewise, Dil Kumar Pun, candidate for vice-chairperson from the Maoist Centre was elected by securing votes of 3315. Her closest contestant Chandrakala Roka Pun from NC secured 884 votes.
Maoist Centre panel were elected in all five wards of the village council including the chairpersons. Yam Bahadur Srish from ward 1, Bhadra Gharti from ward 2, Dil Bahadur Basnet from ward 3, Jit Bahadur Khatri from ward 4 and Ram Bahadur Roka from ward 5 were elected from the Maoist Centre, according to Election Officer Devi Subedi. A total of 5166 votes were cast in the village council elections. There were a total of 7225 voters in this local unit.
