Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called upon Madhes-centric parties to participate in the second phase of local polls to be held on June 14 saying that he was putting utmost effort to amend the constitution to meet the aspirations of Madhes-centric parties.

Speaking in a programme in Janakpur on Sunday, PM Dahal said, “Government is committed to address the Madhes issue. Meanwhile, we request you to participate in the election and take it as your struggle.”

Dahal further said that the number of local entities would be increased as per the demand of Madhes-based parties.
