After 6:30 pm, it can be viewed close from Nepal. It is the first and the last viewing of comet from Nepal, said Suresh Bhattarai, Chairman of Nepal Astronomical Society.
The comet was found under the Catalina Sky Survey by astronomer Jess Jhonson on November 3, 2015. As this is hyperbolic, it will not come close to earth again.
When it comes close to earth, the distance between this star and the earth measures 121.3 km today, added the Society.
For those to view this astronomical wonder, arrangement has been made at Ankur Bidyashram of Gaushala, Kathmandu.
With this arrangement, one can also see the Moon and the Jupiter, Chairman Bhattarai said, adding that even the queries on astronomy and physics would be responded.
The Society has been providing free facilities for anyone interested to observe the astronomical events.
