Obstructed Narayangarh-Muglin road section resumes

The road section has been obstructed since 12:45 am today.
Hundreds of vehicles heading towards Kathmandu and Pokhara from Chitwan and vice versa were stuck due to the obstruction
The landslide debris was removed with the help of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police personnel along with two excavators.
Two Nepal Police personnel were killed after a police van was swept away by the landslide in Kalikhola at around 12:45am Friday. Two other policemen have gone missing in the incident.
The deceased have been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Nischal Tamang and driver Constable Dipak Kumar Maskey. They were in the police van (Ba 1 Jha 1390) of Muglin Area Police Office when the incident occurred.
Police are still looking for the missing police personnel using three boats.
The missing cops have been identified as Sandip karki and Lil Bahadur Chepang.
