Millions of people queued up from the early morning to elect their local representatives for the first time in last two decades. Over 6.4 million voters are casting their vote in 8,364 polling stations to elect 15,038 representatives.
Issuing a press statement the EC has said 113-years old Pashupati Saud cast his vote in Bhumiraj school polling centre in Baitadi while 105 year Kalashi Bhatta used her franchise right in Shayaileshwori municipality in Darchula district. The polling that started at 7 in the morning will conclude at 5 in the evening.
