Two persons died due to snakebite in separate places of Rautahat district on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Asare Alam, 14, of Laxminiya, Ishanath Rural Municipality-2 and Munikumari Patel, 45, of Gaur Municipality-3.

The incident occurred while they were staying outside their houses.
