Two youths from Rukum district lost their lives while working abroad as migrant workers. One died in Saudi Arabia while the other lost his life in Malaysia.
The deceased have been identified as Ratna Bahadur Pariyar, 24, of Banfikot Rural Municipality and Dinesh Pun of Sanibheri Rural Municipality. Pariyar died in Saudi while Pun died in Malaysia.
Pariyar, who had gone to Saudi for foreign employment last year, was found dead in his room this Sunday, said his relative Lal Bahadur Nepali. According to him, Pariyar was fine the earlier day. He returned to his apartment after the day’s work, ate meal and had gone to bed.
The victim family has requested the authorities concerned to help bring his dead body back.
Likewise, Dinesh Pun working in Malaysia died after falling off a chair. He had lost his consciousness and was receiving treatment at a local hospital, but he could not come back to life, said his friend Dhan Bahadur Bishwokarma.
