Four members of a single family have gone missing after being swept away by a river in Sarlahi on Monday.
Radhika Dhungana, 29, sons— seven-year-old Kismat and one-year-old Kriti—and five-year-old daughter Kritika were washed away by the flooded local Lakhandehi River.
The incident occurred when Radhika along with their children was on the way to her paternal home at Jiyajor in Sarlahi to receive Dashain tika, police said.
Meanwhile, Bhimmaya Kafle, 55, of Jutpani, Lalbandi-2 who had gone missing after being swept away by a river few days ago was found dead.
One Ram Dev Saha, 60, of Pindari has gone missing after he was washed away in the flood, the District Police Office Sarlahi said.
