Police have arrested four persons in connection with the Mhepi shooting. Kalyan Gurung from Laprak, Gorkha, was shot at Mhepi in the Capital on Sunday morning.

Asun Gurung, Nabaraj Lamichhane, Surendra Sahi and Sabina Pande Chhetri were held by the police in accusation of their involvement in shooting at Kalyan.

Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Premise, Rabindra Kumar Dhanuk, informed at a press meet that investigation revealed the fact that Asun Gurung shot at Kalyan Gurung, accusing the latter of catcalling Sabina.

Kalyan and Sabina had been the same disco. As Kalyan followed Sabina, she called Asun to sort out the matter. Asun and Sabina chased Kalyan by a car and shot the latter after reaching Mhepi. Asun is originally from Manang district.

The police further informed that the injured Kalyan was receiving treatment at TU Teaching Hospital. RSS
